For those qualifying through an Escape to Alcatraz Triathlon Series event, you will receive an email with registration instructions following your event.
For information on how to qualify through the Escape to Series, click here >>
For those who won their age group at the 2012 Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, you will receive an email on or around October 5, 2012 with registration instructions.
For those who received a deferral from the 2012 Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, you will receive an email on or around October 5, 2012 with registration instructions.
Open Relay Registration will open in mid-October 2012.

A limited amount of entry slots will be reserved for Charities. If you are a Charity Foundation and wish to purchase entry slots or are a triathlete interested in which Charities have available entry slots, click here>>
Individual: $400
Open Relay: $1050
Corporate Relay: $1200
Refund: There will be no refunds, no exceptions.
Transfers: There are no transfers (giving up your spot to another person), except for relay team members - *see note below.
Deferrals: Participants competing as individuals (not on relay teams) may defer to the following year for medical emergency reasons only. Proof of medical injury or condition via a doctor's note must be sent to info@escapefromalcatraztriathlon.com no later than March 2, 2013. There will be no deferrals granted after March 2, 2013. No exceptions.
*There are no refunds or deferrals for relay teams or team members. Those on relay teams must find a replacement.

Please read the following carefully before registering:
- The event date is scheduled for March 3, 2013.
- The lottery is for Individual Age Group participants only. Professionals, Challenged Athletes, Open Relay Teams, and Corporate Challenge Teams may register online through an open registration process.
- The lottery opens September 1, 2012 and closes October 26, 2012. The first drawing is Setpember 29 and the second drawing is October 27. Those not selected in the first drawing will be automatically entered in the second drawing. You may only enter once. Any duplicate entries will not be accepted.
- The time and date of your lottery registration has no significance to your odds of being selected.
- NEW THIS YEAR: There will be a fee of $20 to enter the lottery. Those accepted in the lottery will have this fee applied toward their entry fee upon acceptance of the lottery win and completeion of race registration. Why am I being charged $20? CLICK HERE
