2012 Lottery Registration

Please read the following carefully before registering:

The event date is scheduled for June 10, 2012. This date is subject to change.
The lottery is for Individual Age Group participants only. Professionals, Challenged Athletes, Open Relay Teams, and Corporate Challenge Teams may register online through an open registration process.
The lottery opens September 1, 2011 and closes January 5, 2012. The first drawing is Setpember 30 and the second drawing is January 6. Those not selected in the first drawing will be automatically entered in the second drawing. You may only enter once. Any duplicate entries will not be accepted.
The time and date of your lottery registration has no significance to your odds of being selected.

Escape TO Alcatraz Triathlon Series Qualifiers

For those qualifying through an Escape to Alcatraz Triathlon Series event, you will receive an email with registration instructions following your event.

2011 Escape from Alcatraz Age Group Winners

For those who won their age group at the 2011 Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, you will receive an email on or around October 15, 2011 with registration instructions.

2011 Deferrals

For those who received a deferral from the 2011 Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, you will receive an email on or around October 15, 2011 with registration instructions.

2012 Relay Team Participation

Open Relay Registration will open in mid-October 2011.

2012 Charity Slots

A limited amount of entry slots will be reserved for Charities. If you are a Charity Foundation and wish to purchase entry slots or are a triathlete interested in which Charities have available entry slots, click here>>

2012 Entry Fees and Refund & Deferral Policy

Individual: $400
Open Relay: $1050
Corporate Relay: $1200

Refund: There will be no refunds, no exceptions.
Transfers: There are no transfers (giving up your spot to another person), except for relay team members - *see note below.
Deferrals: Participants competing as individuals (not on relay teams) may defer to the following year for medical emergency reasons only. Proof of medical injury or condition via a doctor's note must be sent to info@escapefromalcatraztriathlon.com no later than June 5, 2012.

There will be no deferrals granted after June 5, 2012. No exceptions.

*There are no refunds or deferrals for relay teams or team members. Those on relay teams must find a replacement.
